The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations -Painter qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment which means you need to be employed to undertake this qualification. This qualification enables you, the student, to demonstrate and recognise your skills, knowledge and understanding and to demonstrate your competence in a real workplace environment so you can work in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations within the construction industry.
This qualification is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and understanding necessary to pursue a career in the construction industry. Students also have the opportunity to progress to higher-level qualifications in their chosen trade.
There are no formal entry requirements for students undertaking these qualifications. The qualifications can be undertaken without any previous training or qualifications in this subject area.
Course Content
The NOCN Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting Occupations (Construction) qualification has a minimum Total Qualification Time (TQT) of 590, including minimum 311 Guided Learning Hours (GLH).
The student must achieve the 5 Mandatory units and ONE of the following Mandatory Pathways routes.
